Susan McClelland  is a native Texan. Her grandfather and great-grandfather were Texas lawyers. Susan grew up in the East Texas area, graduating No. 6 in her class at Henderson High School, where she was editor of the yearbook and a National Merit Scholarship Finalist.

Susan attended Baylor University, graduated with highest honors from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1979, and received a Juris Doctor from the Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1984.

Since her admission to the State Bar of Texas in 1984, Susan has maintained memberships in the Arlington Bar Association, the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Tarrant County Family Law Bar, the Association of Attorney Mediators, the Tarrant County Association of Mediators and the Family Law Section of the State Bar.  

Susan frequently serves as a mediator in both civil and family law cases. She was a finalist in the 1st Annual Jane Arnold award given by the Tarrant County Association of Mediators which is given in recognition of extraordinary demonstrated promise of practicing both the technical and artful skills of a mediator. Susan holds certificates in Basic Training, Family Law Training, and Advanced Mediations. She has served as guest lecturer for mediator training courses at the beginner and advanced level.

John R. Jensen grew up on a cattle ranch in northwestern South Dakota. John went to California to pursue an undergraduate degree after he finished high school in 1964. His education was interrupted by service in the United States Army, including a tour in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968 where he earned the Army Commendation Medal. After an honorable discharge, John worked in the actuarial division for Prudential Life Insurance. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science in 1971 from San Fernando Valley State College and thereafter took a position with Groesbeck Financial Advisors, a nationwide financial planning group, coordinating tax shelter investments, other investment portfolios, estate planning format, and various forms of insurance. He was insurance licensed in California, Texas, and South Dakota, as well as licensed with the National Association of Securities Dealers while attending graduate school part time.

In 1973, John moved to Dallas, Texas and helped form Capital Consultants Corporation as Director of Insurance.  He formed the insurance agency division of the financial group.

John earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law in Waco, Texas in 1976. John was a member of the esteemed Baylor Order of Barristers, the Harvey M. Richey Moot Court Society, a play-off team in the Spring 1976 Practice Court mini-trial competition, and was Treasurer of Delta Theta Phi, Baylor Chapter.

Edwin Robert Jensen II, Associate Attorney, graduated cum laude from Baylor University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in political science.  Edwin then graduated from Baylor University School of Law in August 2013 and was admitted to practice law in Texas in September 2014.  

Edwin graduated from Mansfield Summit High School in 2006 where he lettered in baseball.
